Conmoción e indignación ha generado el abatimiento de dos chimpancés, Chita y Pancho que se volaron del Bioparque Ukkumarí.

Autoridades dicen que aplicaron el protocolo para estos casos, animalistas y ciudadanía en general no están de acuerdo con la medida adoptada.

La muerte de los dos animales ha causado revuelo a nivel local y nacional.

La situación generó una avalancha de comentarios en las redes sociales, en los que los ciudadanos piden explicaciones sobre el trágico suceso, así como sanciones para los encargados del cuidado de esos seres.

A través de redes sociales, comunicados oficiales y otros medios, asociaciones protectoras de animales y ciudadanía en general, rechazaron tajantemente las acciones emprendidas por las autoridades en este caso que resultaron en el abatimiento de los chimpancés Chita y Pancho

Shock and indignation has generated the dejection of two chimpanzees, Chita and Pancho, who flew from the Ukkumarí Biopark.

Authorities say that they applied the protocol for these cases, animalists and citizens in general do not agree with the measure adopted.
