“Las Leonas”, jugando con amor y santa fe, se coronaron campeonas 2023 del Fútbol Femenino Profesional de Colombia, al dividir honores en el Pascual Guerrero con América de Cali; sumando a su favor, después de haber vencido a las escarlatas en el primer partido, en su propia casa Bogotá, dos tantos a uno.

La Dimayor, en cabeza de su presidente Fernando Jaramillo, anunció al inicio del semestre que la final distribuiría un premio de 350 millones de pesos.  Aunque no hay una voz oficial al respecto, todo apunta que las campeonas se quedaron con 200 millones, mientras que las finalistas obtuvieron 150.

Se dice que desde la CONMEBOL podría haber un incentivo adicional de 50.000 dólares para el equipo que ganó la liga. Sin embargo, ambos clubes recibirán una suma de dinero por asegurar su cupo en Copa Libertadores, al igual que Atlético Nacional.

Tras acabar el campeonato, los equipos del país cederán a varias de sus jugadoras con miras al viaje de la Selección Colombia hacia Australia y Nueva Zelanda. Las dirigidas por Néstor Abadía jugarán la cita orbital desde el 20 de julio hasta el próximo 20 de agosto.

"Las Leonas", playing with love and Santa Fe, were crowned 2023 champions of Colombian Professional Women's Soccer, dividing honors at Pascual Guerrero with América de Cali; adding in their favor, after having defeated the scarlets in the first game, in their own home Bogotá, two goals to one.
