ALEJANDRO EL AJEDRECISTA

Alejandro, con mentalidad ajedrecística, es el mejor técnico que ha tenido el Glorioso Deportivo Pereira durante sus 79 años de existencia. Es la figura central en la primera conquista como campeón de la Primera División del Fútbol Profesional Colombiano, y que lo ubicó entre los ocho mejores equipos de América.

Llegó lejos Alejandro Restrepo Mazo, el ajedrecista del fútbol, hasta que, su táctica de atracción, lo traicionó con el movimiento incierto de sus piezas en terreno de juego del “Olímpico Hernán Ramírez Villegas”, la noche del miércoles 23 agosto 2023, siendo vencido por el Poderoso Escuadrón Brasileño Palmeiras “Tricampeón de la Copa Libertadores”.

Fue una noche oscura, frustrante del sueño de 30 mil hinchas matecañas que colmaron las graderías de su Estadio, apagando luces de ilusión con cuatro anotaciones del “verdäo” conseguidas por Raphael Veiga (penalti, minuto 23), Marcos Rocha (minuto 31), Mayke (minuto 34) y Rony (minuto 82). Las fichas le fallaron al ajedrecista Alejandro, dentro del rectángulo gramado del “Hernán Ramírez Villegas”: Aldair Quintana, Garcés, Quintero, Ramírez, Moreno, Vásquez, Medina, Zuluaga, Fory, Ángelo Rodríguez, Arley Rodríguez, Valencia, Monroy, Bocanegra, Murillo y Balboa.

Celebrando los 160 años de su amada ciudad y acompañado por su fiel barra “Lobo Sur”, el Deportivo Pereira, sellará su participación en la Copa Libertadores de América 2023, el miércoles 30 de agosto, en Säo Paulo-Brasil contra Palmeiras.

Alejandro Restrepo Mazo, un paisa de 41 años de edad, fue elegido como el mejor director técnico de Colombia, comandando al Deportivo Pereira, con atractivas prácticas ajedrecísticas innovadas en balompié, aplicadas en conocimientos adquiridos en la Universidad de Antioquia donde obtuvo el título de Licenciado en Educación Física; y, especializado como Entrenador de Fútbol de la ATFA (Asociación de Técnicos del Fútbol Argentino).

Alejandro El Ajedrecista, resume en tres puntos, su éxito con el campeón colombiano DEPORTIVO PEREIRA: 1-Liderazgo, con buena respuesta de sus jugadores. 2-Entrenamiento constante, con metodología de trabajo, asimilada como modelo en el campo de juego. 3-Dirigiendo al equipo con sus once inicialistas y los cambios requeridos, para aplicar la estrategia ajedrecística en cada confrontación.

Alejandro Restrepo Mazo ya está grabado, en la historia de los 79 años, como el mejor Director Técnico del Campeón Colombiano: DEPORTIVO PEREIRA.

Alejandro, with a chess mentality, is the best coach Glorioso Deportivo Pereira has had during its 79 years of existence. He is the central figure in the first conquest as champion of the First Division of Colombian Professional Soccer, and which placed him among the eight best teams in America.

Alejandro Restrepo Mazo, the soccer chess player, went far until his attraction tactic betrayed him with the uncertain movement of his pieces on the pitch of «Olímpico Hernán Ramírez Villegas», on the night of Wednesday, August 23, 2023, being defeated by the Powerful Brazilian Palmeiras Squad «Thrice Champion of the Copa Libertadores».

It was a dark night, frustrating the dream of 30,000 fans from Mateo who filled the stands of their Stadium, turning off the lights of illusion with four “verdäo” goals scored by Raphael Veiga (penalty, minute 23), Marcos Rocha (minute 31), Mayke (minute 34) and Rony (minute 82). The chips failed the chess player Alejandro, inside the grassed rectangle of «Hernán Ramírez Villegas»: Aldair Quintana, Garcés, Quintero, Ramírez, Moreno, Vásquez, Medina, Zuluaga, Fory, Ángelo Rodríguez, Arley Rodríguez, Valencia, Monroy, Bocanegra, Murillo and Balboa.
