Evacuación aeromédica humanitaria desde Perú salva la vida de colombiano herido.

En un avión medicalizado King-350 de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana, se llevó a cabo de manera rápida y oportuna la evacuación aeromédica de un paciente colombiano de 40 años, desde la población de El Estrecho, Perú,  en la zona fronteriza, hasta la ciudad de Bogotá.

En esta misión humanitaria, liderada por el Grupo Aéreo del Amazonas, en coordinación con el  Comando Aéreo de Transporte Militar (CATAM) y el Centro Nacional de Recuperación de Personal (CENRP),  atendiendo el requerimiento del Centro Regulador de Urgencias y Emergencias (CRUE) del Amazonas y el apoyo de la Cancillería de Colombia, para salvaguardar la vida e integridad del colombiano.

El paciente presentaba antecedentes de heridas por arma de fuego y requería regresar al país con urgencia para recibir atención médica especializada.

Durante las dos horas y media  de vuelo desde la amazonía, el herido fue monitoreado permanentemente por los profesionales militares de la tripulación, quienes garantizaron la estabilidad de su estado de salud durante el trayecto, hasta su llegada a la capital del país y ser remitido al Hospital el Tunal.

De esta manera, la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana reafirma su compromiso con la población civil, protegiendo el derecho a la vida y a la salud, y llegando con sus capacidades hasta cualquier lugar donde un connacional lo necesite.

Humanitarian Aeromedical Evacuation from Peru Saves the Life of Wounded Colombian.

A 40-year-old Colombian patient was quickly and efficiently evacuated by air from the town of El Estrecho, Peru, in the border region, to Bogotá, Colombia, using a King Air 350 medical aircraft from the Colombian Air Force.

This humanitarian mission, led by the Amazon Air Group in coordination with the Military Air Transport Command (CATAM) and the National Personnel Recovery Center (CENRP), was carried out at the request of the Amazon Emergency and Urgency Regulatory Center (CRUE) and with the support of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to safeguard the life and well-being of the Colombian citizen.

The patient had a history of gunshot wounds and required urgent return to Colombia to receive specialized medical care.

During the two-and-a-half-hour flight from the Amazon, the injured man was constantly monitored by the military crew, who ensured his stable condition throughout the journey, until his arrival in the nation’s capital and transfer to El Tunal Hospital.

In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force reaffirms its commitment to the civilian population, protecting the right to life and health, and deploying its resources wherever a fellow citizen may need them.
