Rubén Dario Franco Narvaez: Miércoles 15 de abril 2026 – Día Mundial del Arte.
Desde el año 2012 se viene celebrando cada 15 de abril el Día Mundial del Arte, una fecha que busca dar a conocer la importancia que tiene el arte y sobre todo el pensamiento creativo, para la evolución del pensamiento humano y la resolución de los problemas que nos aquejan. La celebración la propuso la Asociación Internacional de Artes Plásticas (AIAP) y fue a partir de 2019 cuando se oficializó por parte de la UNESCO. La proclamación oficial del Día Mundial del Arte tuvo lugar en la 40 reunión de la Conferencia General de la UNESCO el 12 de noviembre de 2019.
Se estableció que fuese el 15 de abril, debido a que este es el natalicio de uno de los mayores artistas de la humanidad, Leonardo Da Vinci, un hombre que fue pintor, escultor, diseñador, arquitecto, poeta, biólogo y un largo etcétera, por eso se le considera el hombre del renacimiento.
El arte es una de las formas más evolucionadas de la expresión humana. A través de ella, el hombre puede expresar su visión personal sobre aquello que le aqueja, le interesa o simplemente le parece bello, por medio de recursos plásticos, sonoros o lingüísticos.

Since 2012, World Art Day has been celebrated every April 15th, a date that seeks to highlight the importance of art, and especially creative thinking, for the evolution of human thought and the resolution of the problems that afflict us. The celebration was proposed by the International Association of Art (IAA) and was officially recognized by UNESCO in 2019. The official proclamation of World Art Day took place at the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference on November 12, 2019. April 15th was chosen because it is the birthday of one of humanity’s greatest artists, Leonardo da Vinci, a man who was a painter, sculptor, designer, architect, poet, biologist, and much more; for this reason, he is considered the quintessential Renaissance man. Art is one of the most evolved forms of human expression. Through it, humankind can express its personal vision of what troubles it, interests it, or simply what it finds beautiful, using visual, auditory, or linguistic resources.
