En un momento clave para la estabilidad institucional y la seguridad en las regiones, el Ejército Nacional ascendió a 604 nuevos suboficiales que asumirán responsabilidades operacionales en distintas zonas del país, con el objetivo de fortalecer el control territorial y enfrentar las amenazas que afectan la gobernabilidad.

La promoción, integrada por 463 hombres y 141 mujeres del Curso N.º 113 Sargento Primero José María Caballero, culminó tras dos años de exigente formación militar y académica orientada al liderazgo en terreno, manejo de recursos,la conducción de tropas y la respuesta frente a estructuras armadas ilegales y economías ilícitas.

A partir de su ascenso al grado de cabo tercero, los nuevos suboficiales serán desplegados en regiones priorizadas donde deberán contribuir a neutralizar factores de inestabilidad, proteger a la población civil y respaldar la presencia efectiva del Estado.

Durante la ceremonia, el segundo comandante del Ejército Nacional, mayor general Jaime Alonso Galindo, afirmó que esta nueva generación está altamente entrenada para asumir operaciones en escenarios complejos. Subrayó que la misión de estos jóvenes será servir con profesionalismo y firmeza, actuando siempre bajo la Constitución y la ley, garantizando el respeto de los derechos de los colombianos mientras cumplen la tarea de restablecer condiciones de seguridad y estabilidad.

Este viernes 27 de febrero se llevará a cabo la ceremonia de ascenso al grado de cabo tercero, acto que será presidido por el comandante del Ejército Nacional, quien impondrá las insignias a estos jóvenes colombianos que eligieron como proyecto de vida servir al país. Con este paso, iniciarán oficialmente su despliegue en diferentes regiones del territorio nacional.

The graduating class, comprised of 463 men and 141 women from Course No. 113, First Sergeant José María Caballero, completed two years of demanding military and academic training focused on field leadership, resource management, troop command, and responding to illegal armed groups and illicit economies.

Upon their promotion to the rank of corporal, the new non-commissioned officers will be deployed to priority regions where they will contribute to neutralizing factors of instability, protecting the civilian population, and supporting the effective presence of the State.

During the ceremony, the Deputy Commander of the National Army, Major General Jaime Alonso Galindo, stated that this new generation is highly trained to undertake operations in complex scenarios. He emphasized that the mission of these young people will be to serve with professionalism and resolve, always acting within the framework of the Constitution and the law, guaranteeing respect for the rights of Colombians while fulfilling the task of restoring security and stability.

This Friday, February 27, the promotion ceremony to the rank of corporal will take place. The ceremony will be presided over by the Commander of the National Army, who will present the insignia to these young Colombians who have chosen to serve their country as their life’s calling. With this step, they will officially begin their deployment to different regions of the national territory.
