Ejército Nacional neutralizó a alias Whisky, tercer cabecilla del grupo armado residual Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz en el oriente del Cauca.

En cumplimiento del Plan Ayacucho Plus y en desarrollo de operaciones militares ofensivas, tropas del Ejército Nacional neutralizaron a alias Whisky, señalado como tercer cabecilla del GAO-r Estructura Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz, del Bloque Occidental Jacobo Arenas, en hechos ocurridos en la vereda San Luis Arriba, zona rural del municipio de Corinto, Cauca.

Las tropas sostuvieron combates contra integrantes de este grupo armado organizado residual, estructura responsable de acciones terroristas, extorsiones y afectaciones contra la población civil y la Fuerza Pública en el norte del Cauca. 

Según información de inteligencia, alias Whisky estaría vinculado a ataques terroristas como el carro bomba que explotó frente a la Alcaldía de Corinto en 2022, dejando 18 personas heridas. También, sería señalado como presunto autor intelectual de los hechos registrados en octubre de 2023 en la vereda Jagual, donde cuatro personas fueron halladas torturadas y posteriormente asesinadas con arma de fuego, además de la acción terrorista perpetrada en 2025 contra la Estación de Policía de Jambaló.

Con este resultado se propina un golpe contundente al reclutamiento forzado de menores indígenas, quienes eran trasladados a otras zonas, como el departamento de Guaviare, para ser instrumentalizados por esta estructura criminal bajo la orden de este individuo.

Con la neutralización de alias Whisky, los soldados del Ejército afectaron la relación entre este sujeto y el cabecilla principal del bloque Jacobo Arenas, alias Marlon, debilitando de manera significativa su capacidad de decisión y operación. Asimismo, se impacta de forma directa el control de economías ilícitas, teniendo en cuenta su injerencia en rutas del narcotráfico, el cobro de extorsiones y la adquisición de armamento.

El Ejército Nacional continúa desarrollando operaciones ofensivas sostenidas contra los grupos armados organizados que delinquen en el oriente del Cauca, y así reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con la seguridad y la protección de las comunidades en esta región del país.

The Colombian National Army neutralized alias Whisky, third-in-command of the Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz residual armed group in eastern Cauca.

In compliance with Plan Ayacucho Plus and during offensive military operations, troops of the Colombian National Army neutralized alias Whisky, identified as the third-in-command of the Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz Structure of the Jacobo Arenas Western Bloc, in events that occurred in the village of San Luis Arriba, in the rural area of ​​the municipality of Corinto, Cauca.

The troops engaged in combat with members of this residual organized armed group, a structure responsible for terrorist acts, extortion, and attacks against the civilian population and the Public Force in northern Cauca.

According to intelligence information, alias Whisky was allegedly linked to terrorist attacks such as the car bomb that exploded in front of the Corinto City Hall in 2022, injuring 18 people. He would also be identified as the alleged mastermind behind the events of October 2023 in the village of Jagual, where four people were found tortured and subsequently murdered with firearms, as well as the 2025 terrorist attack against the Jambaló Police Station.

This outcome deals a significant blow to the forced recruitment of Indigenous minors, who were transported to other areas, such as the department of Guaviare, to be exploited by this criminal organization under this individual’s command.

With the neutralization of alias Whisky, Army soldiers disrupted the relationship between this individual and the main leader of the Jacobo Arenas Bloc, alias Marlon, significantly weakening his decision-making and operational capacity. Furthermore, it directly impacts the control of illicit economies, given his involvement in drug trafficking routes, extortion, and the acquisition of weapons.

The National Army continues to develop sustained offensive operations against organized armed groups that commit crimes in eastern Cauca, and thus we reaffirm our commitment to the security and protection of the communities in this region of the country.
