Operaciones militares contrarrestan el tráfico de estupefacientes y la minería ilegal en Putumayo y la frontera con Ecuador.

La destrucción de infraestructura ilegales para el procesamiento de alcaloides, la incautación de grandes cantidades de estupefacientes y de material de guerra, así como la captura de integrantes de estructuras criminales, hacen parte de los resultados obtenidos mediante operaciones sostenidas que se desarrollan en el departamento del Putumayo.

Las operaciones militares desplegadas por la Sexta División a través de la Vigésima Séptima Brigada, en el marco del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, han sido estratégicas para fortalecer el control en zona de frontera con la República del Ecuador, impidiendo la transnacionalización del narcotráfico, los resultados contundentes en contra de las economías ilícitas y afectación al componente armado de los grupos armados organizados, especialmente de la Estructura 48 Comandos de Frontera, que delinquen en el departamento del Putumayo en los municipios de Orito, San Miguel, Puerto Leguizamo, Puerto Asís, La Hormiga y Valle del Guamuez. 

Las operaciones militares sostenidas del Ejército Nacional han permitido, en los últimos 24 meses, la neutralización de 827 laboratorios para el procesamiento de pasta base de coca y 8 de clorhidrato de cocaína. Asimismo, se han incautado 513 kilogramos de pasta base, ocho toneladas de clorhidrato de cocaína y más de siete toneladas de marihuana. También han sido intervenidas 39 refinerías ilegales, 24 unidades de minería ilegal y 46 válvulas para la extracción ilícita de hidrocarburos, afectando de manera directa las fuentes de financiación ilícita de los grupos armados.

En cuanto al impacto de las operaciones en el componente armado de estas estructuras, se ha materializado la captura de 43 personas y el sometimiento a la justicia de 11 más, además de la incautación de 49 armas de fuego, 23.323 municiones, 531 artefactos explosivos. 

El Comando de la Vigésima Séptima Brigada reafirma su compromiso con la estabilidad regional, la defensa de la soberanía y la seguridad binacional, contribuyendo de manera decisiva a la gobernabilidad del Putumayo y a la derrota de la amenaza.

Military operations deployed by the Sixth Division through the Twenty-Seventh Brigade, within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, have been strategic in strengthening control in the border area with the Republic of Ecuador, preventing the transnationalization of drug trafficking, yielding decisive results against illicit economies, and impacting the armed component of organized armed groups, especially the 48th Border Command Structure, which operates in the department of Putumayo in the municipalities of Orito, San Miguel, Puerto Leguizamo, Puerto Asís, La Hormiga, and Valle del Guamuez.

Sustained military operations by the National Army have led to the neutralization of 827 laboratories for processing cocaine base paste and 8 for cocaine hydrochloride over the past 24 months. Additionally, 513 kilograms of cocaine base paste, eight tons of cocaine hydrochloride, and more than seven tons of marijuana have been seized. Thirty-nine illegal refineries, 24 illegal mining operations, and 46 valves used for the illicit extraction of hydrocarbons have also been shut down, directly impacting the illicit funding sources of armed groups.

Regarding the impact of these operations on the armed component of these groups, 43 individuals have been captured and 11 more have surrendered to the justice system. Furthermore, 49 firearms, 23,323 rounds of ammunition, and 531 explosive devices have been seized.

The Command of the Twenty-Seventh Brigade reaffirms its commitment to regional stability, the defense of sovereignty and binational security, contributing decisively to the governance of Putumayo and to the defeat of the threat.
