SIGUE EN COMPLETO ABANDONO LA VIRGEN DE LA OFRENDA DE LA CALLE 21 CON CARRERA 7ª DE PEREIRA.

Increíble, pero cierto. Ojos y oídos sordos a nuestra justa y viable propuesta de restaurar la imagen de la Virgen de la Ofrenda ubicada en la esquina de la calle 21 con carrera 7ª. de Pereira, especio perteneciente a la Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Pobreza, del artista pereirano Leónidas Méndez (Q.E.P.D ).

En agosto del 2021, llevamos ya cuatro años desde que acá en el Periódico Ciberespacial que cubre los Cinco Continentes del Tercer Planeta Solar: Europa, América, Asia, Oceanía y Arica.

Iniciamos la campaña. Algunas veces llegaron a la cúpula de la Diócesis y, a manera de contentillo, hicieron la limpieza del lugar anunciando la restauración.

Esperamos que en esta ocasión el nuevo obispo de Pereira Monseñor Nelson Jair Cardona Ramírez titular de la diócesis de Pereira, intervenga con plena autoridad, para evitar que la obra se deteriore por completo.

Gracias al Nuevo Obispo de Pereira: Salve usted la Virgen de la Ofrenda.

Una insinuación más: Allí en las naves laterales del interior de la Catedral existen unas imágenes muy hermosas, con unos lampadarios atractivos con sus respectivas ranuras para depositar el dinero; pero por ningún lado hay las veladoras para ofrendar al altísimo y en su mayoría permanecen vacías.

Desde mi óptica periodística, son insinuaciones reales que reclaman los fieles católicos de la amada Pereira.

Incredible, but true. Eyes and ears turned a deaf ear to our just and viable proposal to restore the image of the Virgin of the Offering located on the corner of 21st Street and 7th Street in Pereira, a space belonging to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Poverty, by the Pereira artist Leónidas Méndez (RIP).

In August 2021, we have been here for four years at the Cyberspace Newspaper that covers the Five Continents of the Third Solar Planet: Europe, America, Asia, Oceania, and Arica.

We launched the campaign. Sometimes they even went to the top of the Diocese and, as a form of small gesture, cleaned the place, announcing its restoration.

We hope that on this occasion, the new Bishop of Pereira, Monsignor Nelson Jair Cardona Ramírez, titular bishop of the Diocese of Pereira, will intervene with full authority to prevent the work from deteriorating completely.

Thanks to the new Bishop of Pereira: Hail the Virgin of the Offering.

One more suggestion: There in the side aisles inside the Cathedral, there are some very beautiful images, with attractive lampadaries with their respective slots for depositing money; but the candles for offering to the Almighty are nowhere to be found, and most of them remain empty.

From my journalistic perspective, these are real suggestions that the Catholic faithful of beloved Pereira are demanding.
