En este municipio risaraldense se caracteriza por su riqueza étnica, albergando comunidades indígenas , afros y mestizas, las cuales han vivido en carne propia la transformación  que ha tenido la localidad en los últimos años.

En Pueblo Rico temas como la salud, la pobreza, las emergencias naturales entre otros,  han generado  diferentes problemáticas , que si bien no han sido subsanadas del todo, si se registra un mejoramiento  en diferentes aspectos  de la vida cotidiana.

Además desde el Gobierno nacional  han anunciado inversiones  y programas para mejor  la calidad de vida de los pueblorriqueños.

En los últimos cuatro años  se han llevado a cabo , por pate de la administración municipal, en cabeza del alcalde,  Leonardo Siágama, importantes iniciativas  que han contribuido al cuidado del medio ambiente , el suministro de agua potable , la movilidad humana, el turismo, la seguridad entre otros. This Rirasaldense municipality is characterized by its ethnic richness, housing indigenous, Afro and mestizo communities, which have experienced firsthand the transformation that the town has had in recent years.

In Pueblo Rico, issues such as health, poverty, natural emergencies, among others, have generated different problems, which, although they have not been completely resolved, there has been an improvement in different aspects of daily life.

Additionally, the national government has announced investments and programs to improve the quality of life of Pueblo Ricans.

In the last four years, important initiatives have been carried out by the municipal administration, headed by the mayor, Leonardo Siágama, that have contributed to the care of the environment, the supply of drinking water, human mobility, tourism, security among others.
