Capturado alias Mexicano, presunto cabecilla de un grupo delincuencial al servicio de la estructura residual Hernando González Acosta

En desarrollo de una operación coordinada e interinstitucional, tropas del Gaula Militar Huila y del Batallón de Artillería de Campaña N.° 9 Tenerife, unidades orgánicas de la Novena Brigada, en articulación con la Fiscalía General de la Nación y el apoyo de la Policía Metropolitana de Neiva, lograron la captura por orden judicial de un hombre conocido con los alias de Mexicano o Flaco.

El procedimiento se materializó mediante labores de seguimiento e inteligencia que permitieron ubicarlo cuando intentaba evadir la acción de las autoridades, movilizándose en un bus de servicio público con destino al sur del Huila. La captura se hizo efectiva en un puesto de control militar.

El hombre, de 40 años de edad, tenía orden judicial vigente por los presuntos delitos de homicidio agravado y fabricación, tráfico y porte ilegal de armas de fuego, por hechos ocurridos el pasado 13 de enero, en el barrio San Jorge, de Neiva, donde al parecer habría causado la muerte de un ciudadano tras una discusión.

De acuerdo con las investigaciones, alias Mexicano sería el presunto cabecilla del grupo delincuencial común organizada Los Inters, estructura que, según información preliminar, operaba como componente tercerizado al servicio del grupo armado organizado residual (GAO-r) Hernando González Acosta.

Esta organización, con una trayectoria delictiva de aproximadamente tres años, estaría vinculada a homicidios selectivos, extorsiones, hurtos y lanzamiento de artefactos explosivos para presionar pagos ilegales en los departamentos de Huila, Boyacá, Tolima y el Eje Cafetero, con el propósito de fortalecer las finanzas del Bloque Isaías Pardo, estructura que hace parte del denominado Estado Mayor Central, al mando de alias Iván Mordisco.

Así mismo, las autoridades han establecido que esta red criminal instrumentalizaba menores de edad para actividades de inteligencia delictiva y ejecución de acciones ilícitas, ampliando su capacidad operativa.

El capturado registra anotaciones judiciales por homicidio, amenaza a testigos, concierto para delinquir y porte ilegal de armas. Según los antecedentes recopilados, en 2014 habría desarrollado actividades delictivas en México, país donde al parecer consolidó vínculos con estructuras criminales, situación que dio origen a su alias. Posteriormente, en 2017 hizo parte del grupo Los Rolos, en Neiva, y, tras su desarticulación, asumió el liderazgo de Los Inters. Actualmente, estaría extendiendo su accionar hacia otros países de la región como Ecuador y Paraguay.

Con esta captura se debilita de manera significativa una red criminal que representaba un riesgo para líderes sociales, comerciantes, funcionarios públicos y población vulnerable. Este resultado operacional impacta las finanzas y la capacidad de acción de estructuras ilegales que delinquen en la región.

La Novena Brigada reafirma su compromiso de continuar desarrollando operaciones sostenidas e interinstitucionales que permitan consolidar la seguridad y proteger a las comunidades del sur del país.

The operation was carried out through surveillance and intelligence work that allowed authorities to locate him as he attempted to evade capture, traveling on a public bus to southern Huila. The arrest was made at a military checkpoint.

The 40-year-old man had an outstanding arrest warrant for the alleged crimes of aggravated homicide and the manufacture, trafficking, and illegal possession of firearms, stemming from events that occurred on January 13 in the San Jorge neighborhood of Neiva, where he allegedly caused the death of a citizen following an argument.

According to the investigation, alias «Mexicano» is the alleged leader of the organized criminal group «Los Inters,» a structure that, according to preliminary information, operated as a third-party component serving the residual armed group (GAO-r) Hernando González Acosta.

This organization, with a criminal history of approximately three years, is allegedly linked to targeted killings, extortion, theft, and the use of explosive devices to pressure for illegal payments in the departments of Huila, Boyacá, Tolima, and the Coffee Region, with the aim of strengthening the finances of the Isaías Pardo Bloc, a structure that is part of the so-called Central General Staff, commanded by alias «Iván Mordisco.»

Authorities have also established that this criminal network used minors for criminal intelligence gathering and the execution of illicit activities, expanding its operational capacity.

The arrested individual has a criminal record for homicide, witness intimidation, conspiracy to commit a crime, and illegal possession of firearms. According to the information gathered, in 2014 he allegedly carried out criminal activities in Mexico, where he apparently consolidated ties with criminal organizations, which is how he acquired his alias. Subsequently, in 2017, he was part of the Los Rolos group in Neiva, and after its dismantling, he assumed leadership of Los Inters. He is currently believed to be expanding his operations to other countries in the region, such as Ecuador and Paraguay.

This arrest significantly weakens a criminal network that posed a risk to social leaders, business owners, public officials, and vulnerable populations. This operational result impacts the finances and operational capacity of illegal organizations operating in the region.

The Ninth Brigade reaffirms its commitment to continue developing sustained and inter-institutional operations that will consolidate security and protect the communities in the south of the country.
