El exalcalde Donaldo Parra, fue elegido presidente del directorio liberal de La Virginia, mediante un proceso realizado recientemente y en el cual la plancha promovida por Fernando Cano, se realizó con todos los escaños.

En la Vicepresidencia  estará el concejal Daniel Taborda, en la tesorería María Alba González, en veeduría Fernando Mazuera de las juventudes y también una representante de los jóvenes ocupará la Secretaría General.

Ante la presencia de consenso para presentar una sola plancha, se produió a votar por dos listas, una obtuLvo las mayorías.
