Un proyecto de ley que asignaría recursos de la nación al Museo de Arte de Pereira fue aprobado en su primer debate en el Congreso de la República.

Impulsado por lo seis congresistas de Risaralda, este proyecto busca reconocer la trayectoria de 50 años del museo y su aporte cultural a la región.

El Museo ha acogido más de 768 exposiciones y recibido 36 mil visitantes, además de exhibir obras de artistas de renombre como Fernando Botero y Enrique Grau.

Es un de las pocas veces que todos los congresistas de la región se unen con el mismo fin, pues se han caracterizado por sus rivalidades.

A bill that would allocate national resources to the Pereira Art Museum was approved in its first debate in the Congress of the Republic.

Promoted by the six congressmen from Risaralda, this project seeks to recognize the 50-year history of the museum and its cultural contribution to the region.

The Museum has hosted more than 768 exhibitions and received 36 thousand visitors, in addition to exhibiting works by renowned artists such as Fernando Botero and Enrique Grau.

It is one of the few times that all the congressmen from the region have joined together for the same purpose, as they have been characterized by their rivalries.
