Unan nueva recusación se presentó frente al proceso de elección del Secretario General de la Asamblea de Risaralda, en la que se planteó que la mesa directiva y la plenaria no se pronunciaron frente a la denuncia de Oscar Fabian Valencia, uno de los candidatos a este cargo, y que dicho silencio se considera una posible vulneración al proceso.
Al respecto, los diputados que recibieron la recusación, Jaime Duque, Carlos Andrés Gil y Carlos Wilson Suarez, no aceptaron dicha recusación.
Javier Darío Marulanda, asumió como presidente encargado para dar continuidad al proceso.
La procuraduría Regional emitió concepto y dice que es la plenaria de la Asamblea, la máxima autoridad para resolver estas inquietudes presentadas por Julián Andrés Salazar, contra los diputados Jaime Duque, Carlos Andrés Gil y Carlos Wilson Suarez.
